At Starr Ranch Growers, we pride ourselves on being a company that strives to leave the earth cleaner than when we found it. Our packing facilities utilize energy-efficient lighting, CO2 scrubbers, electric forklifts, and recycling systems that help us keep our footprint small.
Sustainable Orchards
We nurture the land as tenderly as we nurture our fruit. Starr Ranch orchards use a series of sustainable farming techniques, including micro-sprinklers and natural pest control methods, to ensure we’re taking good care of our planet.
Water conservation
Starr Ranch Growers is dedicated to conserving one of our most precious resources – water. We use advanced technology to measure soil moisture, which allows us to adjust water levels and schedules with precision. Starr Ranch Growers also utilizes micro-irrigation fan jets to distribute water more evenly and prevents wasteful water usage.
Protecting our soil
Well-loved soil has been key to Starr Ranch Growers’ success. To ensure that our crops have the optimal environment to grow and thrive, we conduct laboratory testing on our soil and foliage to determine if there are any nutritional deficiencies. We carefully manage the field’s health, and to prevent over-treating our soil we use pest and disease-resistant rootstocks.

REcyclable Pouch
Our recyclable pouch is made of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) plastic. When HDPE recycling is done the right way, you can help keep non-biodegradable plastic waste out of landfills and help the environment. Also, it takes much less energy to create products from recycled plastics like HDPE than from new plastics which helps reduce the use of fossil fuels.
