Diamond Starr Growers
Two of the Northwest's oldest Marketing, Growing, Packing and Shipping organizations have joined forces for the upcoming season. Diamond Fruit Growers of Odell, Oregon have merged their sales and marketing programs with Oneonta Starr Ranch Growers in Wenatchee, Washington. Oneonta will be the exclusive sales and marketing agent for all the products grown by Diamond Fruit Growers and their members.
A unique branding icon has been created thru the merger of both companies. "We have several marketing strategies in the making as well as rolling out our new label and packaging for the 2008 season", says Scott Marboe, Director of Marketing. The timing has been impeccable and is sure to create an excellent pear category presence for all. This will help open future markets as well as expand on existing markets served by both companies.
